Nu’maan Mahmood, Project ManagerNu’maan Mahmood holds an MSc in Construction Project Management and has five years project management experience across various industries and organizations. He took the lead role as an events and public relations manager at the British Muslim Heritage Centre where he successfully organized a variety of events and high-profile visits from guests including prominent scholars, academics, Members of Parliament and foreign delegations – including the U.S. Ambassador to the UK. His experience led to him being personally invited to join the logistics team at the exclusive Mosaic International Summit 2011 in Qatar. As part of his role, he was responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the Summit Programme as well as hosting many special guests including Her Excellency Sheikha Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Robert Swan OBE and key personnel from Qatar Shell and Qatar Petroleum.
In his spare time, Nu’maan enjoys long distance cycling and running, playing football and jumping off tall buildings! In 2012, he took part in the Greater Manchester Marathon to raise money for the Pakistan Recovery Fund and met HRH The Prince of Wales who is the Patron for the charity.
Nu’maan also takes an active interest in furthering his Islamic knowledge by attending regular courses. With his passion to help young people unlock their true potential, Nu’maan founded the Redbrick Academy in 2014 with the aim of bridging the gap between aspiration and attainment for young people in Manchester.
